Gate 45

Jack was running to Gate 45, hoping to find the true love of his live in line for her flight to Brasil. He ran as fast as his heart let him, and his heart let him run fast enough, because he was in love.

He heard the speaker signal que final boarding call. He had to run faster, as fast he had realized how much he loved her when he learned how much of an idiot he was for letting her go like that.

Jack reached the gate and there she was.

"Julianne! Don't leave."

She turned around.

"Jack? What are you doing here?"

Jack tried to talk. "Wait," he said without breath. A few gasps. "I love you."

"Well, I know that. It's kinda creepy seeing you here running in an airport. You look like a terrorist. How come no one tackled you down and locked you up?"

He waved her words away. "Nevermind. Look I love you. And I forgive you. I don't mind if you had sex with someone else, God knows I've tried, too. But I couldn't, I even think I'm out of your league, that's why this is worth fighting for, at least from my perspective. I think a relationship is more than being sorry, a relationship is about forgiving and forgetting. And I forgive you."

The other passengers gather around them to witness the scene. There were smiles in the crowd, love was in the air.

"I didn't see this one coming."

"Neither did I. Maybe I'm just horny, but I know how low my self-steem is, so instead of whining around social networks and complaining with my friends about how much I loved you while listening to Stereophonics I'm dropping any ounce of dignity that I may have to ask you to come back with me even though you cheated on me."

Julianne didn't drop her hand luggage. "You do understand that I can't get a refund for this ticket. Not only that, I've already gave the deposit for the new apartment. Leaving for another country is a convoluted process that I can't just undo right before catching my flight."

Jack shrugged, his chin near his chest.

Julianne embraced her hand luggage. "I appreciate your feelings, but coming here is a simple choice, while the consequences of me not getting in that plane are going to affect me forever. I'm sorry, but you should've masturbated before doing this." She then began walking away.

Jack heard the fading steps eyes closed. He raised his face. "I did masturbate."

The airport went silent. Julianne dropped her bag and met his eyes. "What did you say?"

"I did masturbate before coming here... twice. I love you."

Her eyes gleamed. "Oh, Jack."

People cheered and clapped as Jack and Julianne kissed passionately in front of Gate 45.

She skipped her flight and their relationship lasted another six months before definitely coming to an end.

okbye!
